En un lugar Where to live in Spain, compared on official data Nederlands Units

Privacy

Short version: we store your settings in your own browser, we count visits only if you say yes, and we never sell or share personal data.

What stays in your browser

Your slider settings, the places you tick for comparison and your choice of units are kept in your browser's local and session storage so they survive a page reload. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)

If you click “Yes, fine” in the bar at the bottom of the page, we load Google Analytics 4 to count visits: which pages are read, from which country, on what kind of device, and which links are clicked. Google then sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years) and processes the data on our behalf (Google Ireland Ltd; data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. If you click “No” or ignore the bar, nothing is loaded and no cookie is set. You can change your choice here: . Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).

Hosting

The site is served by Netlify, Inc. (United States, with European points of presence). Like every web host, Netlify keeps short-lived server logs with IP addresses to run and protect the service (Netlify privacy policy). We do not read them.

Content from other sites

Town photos are loaded from Wikimedia Commons, so your browser requests them from the Wikimedia Foundation's servers. Links to Wikipedia, AEMET, INE, ministries and ranking publishers lead to their sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent at any time (use the button above). As we hold no accounts and no personal data beyond what Google Analytics collects with your consent, in practice this means changing your choice. To reach us, use our Facebook page.
